In addition to uplifting the spirit of others through Christian ministry, I have also done so through television and fashion, because what we wear directly impacts how we feel.
Exciting, vibrant, and meaningful, every fashion feature leaves a unique imprint on our hearts. I have produced, hosted, and edited collectively over 400 fashion-related shows for local, national, and international platforms.
When I was 14 years old I decided to give up television for lent. About two weeks later, when my fast ended, I turned on my television. The first thing I saw was a teen forum show. The teens were diverse, intelligent, and vocal. The set was colorful; I remember hues of lime green and pastel red, as well as a large cream studio desk where they sat and spoke. That day I knew I would build a successful career in television where I would use my voice to serve others. Now I know God was also preparing me to be a prophet and evangelist.
Fast forward eight years from my lent fast and God opened my first television career door, directly after graduating from Marquette University majoring in Media Communications (I also graduated from the Marquette University Upward Bound and McNair Scholars programs), and during my graduate studies at Columbia College Chicago where I earned a master's degree in Business and Entrepreneurship.
I was offered an opportunity to be a television content producer and fashion reporter for WCIU-TV in Chicago and began building my media legacy from there! This is one testimony of how God blesses us when we love and sacrifice for Him. God also opened up several other career doors within a total of twelve industries, including healthcare, education, and banking, some of which are displayed below. Visit my LinkedIn for more details.
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things," -Philippians 4:8.
